A review desk for people who run IT for other people

Nettrace24 exists because most comparisons of MSP software are written either by the vendors themselves or by marketplaces that rank whoever pays the most. Neither helps a three-person shop decide whether a platform will still make sense at forty clients.

Who writes it

The site is edited by OKSANA DRONOVA. Every review, guide and comparison is written or edited by the editor and carries the editor's name and the date it was last checked. The editor is the person responsible for every claim on the site and the person who answers when you write in with a correction.

The site is written for the people who do the day-to-day work of small-business IT: rolling out endpoint agents, building patch schedules around users who refuse to reboot, untangling networks nobody documented, and moving from one management platform to another when the old one stops fitting. We are less interested in feature checklists than in the questions that decide whether a small managed service business makes money: what a tool costs per client once you add the modules you actually need, how long it takes to onboard a new customer, whether the patch reports are something you can send to a client without editing, how well the platform protects itself against being used as a way into every customer at once, and what leaving it later would involve.

What we cover

The binder currently holds 10 products across three sections: RMM platforms, patch and endpoint management, and network and asset tools. That is deliberately narrow. We would rather keep a small number of reviews accurate and current than publish a thin page for every product on the market. New products are added when readers ask about them often enough and we have been able to spend real time with them.

How we stay independent

• We are not a vendor or reseller. We don't sell licences, host software or provide support for any product. Every product link points to the vendor's own site.
• No paid placements. Vendors cannot buy a review, a position in a table or a change of wording. No link on the site earns us a commission today; if that ever changes, those links will be labelled and listed on our affiliate disclosure page.
• Weak spots are mandatory. Every review includes a section on where the product falls short and who should skip it, whether or not we have any commercial relationship with the vendor.
• Corrections are public. When a vendor or reader shows us a mistake, we fix it and update the date on the page.

How the site runs

Nettrace24 is a static website with no user accounts, no comments and no newsletter sign-up. It is served through Cloudflare. We may use a Google Ads tag to understand which pages lead readers to a vendor site; the details are on our privacy and cookies pages. Our scoring approach is written up on the methodology page.
